Zachary Smith (he/him) is the Postsecondary Pathways Program Manager on the California Justice Leaders team. Zachary provides support to incarcerated and formerly incarcerated youth within Alameda County in partnership with Laney College’s Restoring Our Communities program. He offers court support and guides individuals through postsecondary education navigation, with hopes of utilizing education as an alternative to criminalization. Additionally, he is tasked with cultivating partnerships across counties and postsecondary institutions to further the efforts of the California Justice Leaders. Zachary received his AA from Gavilan College, BA from UC Santa Cruz, and JD from UC Berkeley.
