Seham was born and raised in the Bay Area and is deeply committed to advancing housing justice and reentry support. She earned her undergraduate degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Cal Poly Pomona, where she developed a strong understanding of the structural factors that influence housing access and community development. With over a decade of experience serving individuals and families experiencing housing insecurity, Seham brings a grounded, compassionate approach to her work.
Seham is currently a Program Manager at Impact Justice, where she supports the planning of Project Zero—an initiative aimed at ending recidivism, homelessness, and unemployment among people returning to San Francisco from prison. Her drive to pursue this work is rooted in the personal impact incarceration has had on those closest to her.
Seham’s passion for supporting system-impacted individuals has shaped her leadership in both direct service and program management roles. She has led shelter and interim housing programs, built cross-sector partnerships, and designed systems that prioritize dignity, equity, and long-term stability. She believes in the transformative power of community and is dedicated to creating pathways for healing and housing for all.
Outside of work, Seham loves exploring new places with her little ones and discovering new foods along the way.
