Revathi Menon (she/her) is an Administrative Associate at the PREA Resource Center (PRC). She was born and raised in Louisiana and moved to the DC area in 2024.
Having previously attended Louisiana State University (LSU) and majored in International Studies, her passion for criminal justice reform began when she became a Louisiana Service and Leadership Scholar (LASAL) at LSU, where she learned how systemic problems such as poverty, low graduation rates, and environmental pollution exacerbate socio economic issues vulnerable communities face.
Revathi’s previous experience interning at the city of Baton Rouge’s Office of the Public Defender and as a Fulbright grantee teaching English in Madrid, Spain contributed to her smooth transition to her current role as an Administrative Assistant at the PRC. Her unique educational background and experience, as well as her passion for criminal justice reform, allows her to contribute to the organization’s mission.
