Paula Dorfman is the Senior Manager, Development and Donor Experience at Impact Justice. In this role, she supports efforts to raise funds to support the organization’s mission and programs.

She joined Impact Justice after four years managing a $4 million individual and institutional giving portfolio at Challenger Center, a national STEM education nonprofit that she joined after several years as a fundraising consultant, helping to resource numerous social change, human service, environmental advocacy, and education nonprofits.

Before her development career, Paula served two terms in AmeriCorps, supporting unhoused and under-resourced community members in the American South and Central Oregon. These experiences helped to fuel her dedication to social justice and her passion for combating the deep inequities embedded in American society.

Originally from New Orleans, she has spent most of her life in the Washington, DC area. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Antioch College and an M.A. in Liberal Arts from St. John’s College.
