Nicky Sullivan is a Senior Researcher for the Research and Action Center at Impact Justice, where he uses quantitative and qualitative research methods to conduct program evaluations and original research. Before joining Impact Justice, he studied the conversations parents and children have about race, racial inequality, and police violence, with the goal of empowering families to have more frequent and effective conversations. In that work he also collaborated with non-profits to inform research design and communicated findings with the public through articles, webinars, and podcasts. His research and writing has been published in outlets including the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences and Scientific American. Nicky holds a PhD in psychology from Stanford University, as well as a bachelors degree in psychology and communication from Stanford University.
