Melanie Robledo is a leader in housing justice and reentry housing innovation. As the Senior Program Manager of the Housing Lab at Impact Justice, she designs and launches community-driven housing initiatives that redefine what it means to “come home” for formerly incarcerated individuals. Her work on the National Reentry Housing Incubator included overseeing sustainable housing models, capacity building, and technical assistance for organizations across the nation. Currently, she leads two initiatives that advance reentry housing justice: a National Technical Assistance (TTA) Program and a Women’s Reentry Housing Pilot of the Homecoming Project.
Melanie also serves on the Steering Committee for Just Home Los Angeles, working to reduce the jail footprint in LA County, and is a member of the California Interagency Council on Homelessness (Cal ICH) Lived Experience Advisory Board (LEAB), where she provides strategic insights to influence statewide housing policies. Prior to joining Impact Justice, Melanie was the Housing Project Manager at the Center for Employment Opportunities in Los Angeles.
Her greatest success to date is being a full-time soccer mom.
