Joey Pagaduan joined Impact Justice as a Community Navigator for the Homecoming Project in July 2023. His background in working with individuals with substance use disorders, those that have been system-impacted, unhoused youth, case management, and lived experience with the California Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation have led him to dedicating himself to restorative justice and creating positive change in his community.

Joey’s role as Community Navigator allows him to work closely with participants in the Homecoming Project through collaboration in planning for present and future successes, providing linkage to community resources, and moral support. He also aids participants in addressing immediate and longer-term needs in their transition into the community and beyond.

He is a certified life coach, holds national and state certifications as an addictions counselor, and works diligently to expand his skills and knowledge. Joey enjoys theatre, writing, and believes in the transformative power of art.
