Heather Santora is a Housing Organizer with The Homecoming Project at Impact Justice. Guided by trauma-informed care, an equity-centered approach, and extensive experience working with home owners. She builds partnerships with landlords and community organizations to expand fair access to safe, stable housing for systems-impacted individuals through strategic relationship building.
Before joining Impact Justice, Heather spent a decade directing shelters for survivors of intimate partner violence and leading transformational community rebuilding programs in Zambia and Mexico. She holds a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Georgia and advanced certifications as a Master Trainer, Energy Codes Facilitator, Clinical Hypnotherapist, and Rapid Transformational Therapist – credentials that deepen her understanding of trauma, resilience, and human behavior. Heather lives on a small urban farm with her two sons and a rotating menagerie of rescue animals.
