Bess Cohen joined the PREA Resource Center Training and Support Team, primarily focusing on the Targeted Implementation and Planning Support (TIPS) program, as a Program Associate in January 2024. Bess has extensive experience in operations, program support, and administrative management, especially as related to providing social services. Previously, Bess worked on the Operations Team at the Justice Policy Center within the Urban Institute, she served on the Women*s Center Sexual Assault Hotline at Haverford College, and she has done communications work and support group facilitation with various mental health organizations in the Philadelphia area. Bess’ passion for building and engaging in community safety measures, and her desire to create and live in a society in which all peoples’ dignity and humanity are respected and nurtured, led her to Impact Justice.
