Homelessness in Los Angeles is on everyone’s minds; but did you know that formerly incarcerated people are 10x more likely to become homeless? With the Homecoming Project, YOU can rewrite that story.
The Homecoming Project matches people returning from prison with supportive and welcoming hosts in the community. It sounds crazy, we know – but prior to our Los Angeles expansion, we’ve successfully matched over 100 formerly incarcerated people with hosts in the Bay Area, many of whom have become like family. The program is safe and effective, with an outstanding success rate: all of our participants have graduated their six months host placements with long-term housing secured. 95% have secured employment or gone back to school with the support of the program. None have returned to prison.
You can earn extra income while helping someone get back on their feet. We need people like you to step up and open their doors. Will you join us? Provide your contact details below, and we’ll send you more information!
