Charles Taylor is Impact Justice’s Director of People and Culture. Charles has extensive experience in all areas of human resources, including employee and labor relations, union negotiations, succession planning, career development, and strategic planning. Before joining Impact Justice, Charles worked with Adams & Associates as a Corporate HR Manager, overseeing and supporting 15 HR Departments at Job Corps centers nationwide. This role consisted of coaching and supporting the local HR Managers to aid in all matters of HR and ensure compliance with governmental and company policies. In addition, Mr. Taylor also works as an HR Consultant for several organizations, including BTI Security and The Leading Niche holding such titles as Acting Director & HR Subject Matter Expert.
Outside of work, Charles volunteers extensively as an advocate for the homeless in Washington, DC and the Baltimore, MD areas and speaks with previously incarcerated individuals sharing his journey. Charles attended Delaware State University on an athletic scholarship. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Bowie State University and an MBA and M.S. in HR Management from the University of MD Global Campus. In addition, he holds an SHRM-SCP credential and is a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
Charles is also a sports enthusiast with a rich history in athletics, whose passion for sports continues to shine brightly today. Go Lakers & Commanders!!!
