Steven’s work centers on program coordination, partnership development, and systems-level strategies aimed at removing structural barriers for people returning home.
He brings extensive experience across reentry, workforce development, and community partnerships. Prior to joining Impact Justice, Steven led multi-state recruitment and partnership efforts, supported employer engagement, developed alumni initiatives, and helped hundreds of formerly incarcerated individuals access living-wage career opportunities. He is also a Project Rebound alumnus from San Francisco State University, where he supported justice-impacted students as they navigated higher education and access to critical resources.
Steven is deeply committed to advancing equity and dignity for justice-impacted communities. His approach is grounded in collaboration, data-informed strategy, and lived proximity to the challenges faced by people returning from incarceration. He believes sustainable systems change requires centering those most impacted and building pathways that allow people not just to survive, but to thrive.
