Jaquila LaShaye Green is Senior Program Manager for Growing Justice (South Carolina) at Impact Justice, where she leads the launch and implementation of a first-of-its-kind controlled environment agriculture (CEA) job training, workforce development, and reentry initiative for incarcerated women. She manages program operations, builds strategic partnerships, and ensures participants have the training, skills, and support needed to succeed after release.
With more than 16 years of experience spanning state government and the non-profit sector, LaShaye’s career began in human services and progressed through mental health and substance use treatment to reentry, corrections, and workforce development. She briefly served as a Senior Policy Analyst with the Council of State Governments Justice Center and previously held dual roles at the South Carolina Department of Corrections as Programs and Reentry Manager and Regional Trainer, guiding and developing program and reentry staff across correctional facilities statewide to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality, evidence-based services. In these roles, she expanded post-secondary education, oversaw evidence-based programming, and developed a reentry release planning model later adopted statewide.
Her work is driven by a commitment to creating opportunities, restoring dignity, and building stronger pathways home for justice-impacted individuals. She is a Certified Anger Management Specialist (CAMS-I) and holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from South Carolina State University and a Master of Public Administration from Strayer University. She is also a member of the Leadership Columbia Class of 2026.
