Pilar Victoria is a research analyst 2 for the Research & Action Center at Impact Justice. Prior to this role, she worked as a human rights consultant for the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, where she monitored and reported human rights violations throughout the Americas. Before that she was a project manager for the Researching Inequity in Society Ecologically research team at New York University, where she coordinated the development, implementation, and evaluation of alternative programs for adolescents involved, or at risk of involvement, with the juvenile legal system.
Pilar received her B.S. in applied psychology from New York University, graduating magna cum laude. She earned her masters in human development and social intervention with a concentration on research methods from New York University.
