Maureen is a collaborative, mission driven leader who brings more than two decades of leadership and management experience in the fields of finance, accounting, human resource, construction, facilities management, and information technology. She is responsible for all aspects of Impact Justice’s finances, including strategy and process to advance the organization’s growth plans, and funders expectations.

Before joining Impact Justice, Maureen held leadership positions in both the private and nonprofit sectors. Most recently, Maureen was the CFO for Abode Services, the largest homeless services nonprofit in the Bay Area. In this role, she led all financial and human resource functions for four nonprofit organizations under Abode’s umbrella, providing homeless services, property management, and real estate development across five counties. She strengthened the organization’s infrastructure during a period of intense growth. Maureen also served as the financial and administrative leader at Committee on the Shelterless, a homeless services organization in the North Bay, where she guided the organization through a transformational period, defined their strategic direction and business plan, and streamlined their financial and accountability systems.

Prior to her nonprofit work, Maureen was a financial leader with Intel, where she held a variety of positions. She partnered with operational leaders in the areas of supply chain management, manufacturing, product line development, and construction to develop and implement strategies that delivered business and financial results maximizing performance, output, and cost. Maureen holds a bachelor of science degree in accountancy, and a master’s in nonprofit leadership and management, both from Arizona State University.
