Lauren McGary is a research analyst at Impact Justice. In her previous role at the Alameda County District Attorney’s office, she researched, evaluated, and managed data for programs serving domestic violence survivors and system-involved youth survivors of commercial sex trafficking. She also led outreach and recruitment efforts for the District Attorney’s Justice Academy, which seeks to expose teens to careers in criminal justice and social justice.
Lauren graduated cum laude as a member of Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society, from Barnard College, Columbia University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in political science. Her career has consisted of public service, government, and nonprofit work with a focus on policy research and criminal justice reform advocacy.
