Erica brings more than fourteen years of experience in nonprofit program development and fundraising to Impact Justice, and is proud to support a high-impact mission that makes lives healthier and safer for children, families, and communities.
Prior to Impact Justice, Erica served as the development director of Safe Shores – The DC Children’s Advocacy Center, a nonprofit helping children and families affected by violence, trauma and abuse. In this role, she was responsible for raising over $2 million annually in gifts and grants. Erica also served as the National Council on Crime and Delinquency’s first-ever development director, and worked on criminal and juvenile justice reform issues as a program associate for the Vera Institute of Justice.
She serves on the board of the Washington-Lee High School Education Foundation and on the fundraising committee of Free Minds, a non-profit book club and writing workshop for youth charged and incarcerated as adults.
Erica earned her MSW from George Mason University and has a BS in public administration from James Madison University. She is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) and is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP).
