Alexa Kasner was inspired to support criminal justice advocacy after volunteering with Black and Pink, which supports incarcerated people who are LGBTQ+ and HIV-positive. She comes to Impact Justice from the arts world, where she worked with various organizations from small nonprofit galleries to internationally recognized institutions, including the National Museum of Women in the Arts and the Louvre. Through these experiences, she has always been drawn to artists whose work engages with activism and social movements. Alexa graduated from Wellesley College, where she studied art history and gender studies.
