Communications Manager

Reporting to the Impact Justice Director, Communications, The Communications Manager provides day-to-day oversight of a wide range of communications tasks and projects, including handling social media, public relations outreach, website management and assisting with incoming press requests. Works collaboratively with program staff to help spotlight the messages, research and accomplishments of the organization.

Program Manager

The Restorative Justice Project seeks a highly-organized, deadline driven full-time team member to serve as a Program Manager in IJ’s Oakland, CA office. This Program Manager will be responsible for a wide variety of administrative, organizational, logistical, and strategic big-picture planning and visioning tasks. This position coordinates all aspects of the Restorative Justice Project’s Implementation, Training and Technical Assistance Program in ten sites across the nation. This includes site support for program implementation and community-based service delivery, resource and publication development, stakeholder engagement and conference activity, the planning of a trip for multiple district attorneys and judges to New Zealand in January 2018, and other strategic resource investments.

Program Associate

The Program Associate will work with the Restorative Justice Project to provide training and technical assistance on a variety of projects related to restorative justice in communities across California and the nation. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with restorative justice, including training and technical assistance. The Program Associate will assist in managing projects, provide training facilitation and technical assistance, while working collaboratively on a team. A successful candidate will have a wealth of restorative justice experience and comfort with working closely with community based organizations, community members, and criminal legal system partners to establish these programs. Significant travel is required.

Executive Assistant

Impact Justice is hiring a part-time executive assistant. The EA will be responsible for working closely with the President. The EA will have the twin responsibilities of focusing on our general operations support and supporting the President in the scheduling and planning of his calendar and tasks. In practice, this means the EA is a multi-functional task doer and problem-solver, providing comprehensive support to the President and administrative team.

Program Associate

The PRC seeks a full time team member to serve as a Program Associate in IJ’s Washington, DC office. The position will provide administrative and programmatic support on an ongoing basis. Primary tasks include audit-related program support, event planning, organizing, providing other project management support, communications support, and general project and office administration. The successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple moving pieces and tasks. The Program Associate will be involved in a variety of exciting initiatives and projects within the PRC, and will help support one of the most significant and coordinated efforts to improve conditions of confinement nationwide.
